Everell Farm Horse Boarding Stalls

18 – 12×12 stalls, 12 have dutch windows. 2 have barred, sliding windows. 4 do not have windows. 6 garage/sliding floor to ceiling doors at the end of each aisle provide excellent ventilation. Each stall is outfitted with a fan for summer months and is mucked daily.

Everell Farm Outside Arena

Arenas

190 x 75 ft Heated Indoor. 200 x 130 ft Outdoor. Each are watered and dragged daily and have sand footing. Trainers welcome with Insurance.

Stable Amenities

Heated stable with fly spray system throughout. 2 hot/cold wash racks. Air-conditioned tack room with bathroom, racking for blankets, and refrigerator/freezer.

Everell Farm Boarding Feed Area

Feed

2 feed storage areas, one for each aisle for feeds and supplements. Additional feed storage can be arranged.

Free-choice grass hay fed, even when out on all-weather turnouts. Horses get thrown hay in the morning and mid-day when out on all-weathers. We can chop hay as well.

3 grains fed – SafeChoice Special Care, Tribute Senior Sport, Tribute Kalm N’EZ.

2 feedings per day included in Board, 3rd feeding can be arranged. Owner provided supplements will be given. Medicines can be given at an additional fee.

Grooming and Additional Care

General grooming – brushing of body and picking of feet included in Board. Heavier duty grooming such as Mane Pulling, Body Clipping, Scratches/Scurf Maintenance, Applying Standing Wraps, etc. can be done for an additional fee.

Tacking can be arranged during the day.

Veterinarian and Farrier of your choice can be used. There are a few Vets and Farriers that already come into the barn as well.

Night Check completed every night. Owner lives on site.

Everell Farm Horse Boarding Grass Turnout

Turnout – Exercise & Socialization

10 all-weather limestone turnouts (50ft x 60ft each), 9 larger grass turnouts varying in size. Horses can be turned out individually or in groups. Horses are turned out rain or shine every day of the week. Water provided in each turnout and refilled during the day.

Hand-Walking and Lunging can be done at an extra cost.

Board Rate is $1100/month

What is Included?

*Daily turnout on all weather or grass turnouts, weather permitting

*Blanketing for turnout, fly sheets and fly masks too

*Use of indoor and outdoor arenas (dragged daily)

*Daily stall cleaning and daily paddock cleaning

*3 different grains provided – SafeChoice Special Care, Tribute Senior Sport, Tribute Kalm N’EZ

*Supplements provided by the owner will be fed at no additional cost (as long as provided and stored in a way approved by barn staff)

*Quality free choice grass hay

*2 water buckets in stall and water in paddocks

*Fans in summer

*Heat in stable and indoor arena in winter

*Barn fly spray system

*Trainers welcome with insurance

*Boarders may bring in any trainer with insurance

 

Horse Care Rates

What services can be provided at an additional fee per horse?

*Putting on boots daily for turnout (fly boots, splint boots, bell boots, etc) = $150/month

*Horse Grooming/bathing = $200/month (4-5 times per week) or $25/day

*Tacking if including the monthly grooming is an extra $100/month or $10/day.  If not including the grooming, then it’s $200/month or $25/day (tacking is only provided from 8am-4pm Mon-Fri and 8am-3pm Sat-Sun)

*Mane pulling = $25/time

*Body clipping = $200/time

*Muzzle clipping = $30/time

*Medical care (medicine/salve administration, scratches care, etc) is $20/time or if multiple times per day is $50/day

*Injections = $25/shot

*Hand fed medicines or supplements = $150/month or $10/day

*Hand-walking for 20 minutes = $25/time

*Vet/farrier assistance = $50/time

*Wrapping daily = $200/month or $25/time

*Cold-hosing/ice boots = $35/time

*Red-light therapy (20 minutes) = $40/time

 

Additional Services

What other services can be provided at an extra fee per horse?

*Tack Cleaning = $20/time

*Additional water bucket in stall = $40/month

*3rd Feeding = $150/month

*Hay net hung in stall and/or turnout = $100/month

*Wet down hay net in stall and/or turnout = $200/month

*Storing feed because you do not use barn provided feed = $50/month

*Storing more than 1 tack trunk, 1 saddle, 1 bridle per horse in the tack room = $50/month per extra item

*Any use of barn supplies (salves, fly spray, tack, equipment, etc) = $20/day

*Private use of the arena for lessons (must be scheduled) = $25/time

*Broken fence boards = $25/board

No, we do not offer riding lessons. However, you may bring in a trainer of your choice for yourself and your horse, as long as that trainer has insurance. 

What am I required to provide for my horse?

Feeds outside what the barn provides. Supplements. Medications (for a fee will be given). Medical supplies (for a fee will be applied). Blankets, boots, fly masks, grooming supplies, etc.

Are there any health requirements for boarding?

Yes, all horses must be up to date on vaccinations and have a recent Coggins. This ensures the safety and health of all horses at our facility.
